EPIM
European Program for Integration and Migration
The EUROPEAN PROGRAM FOR INTEGRATION AND MIGRATION — EPIM links the resources and skills of many foundations in order to strengthen the role of civil society in building inclusive communities and developing human and sustainable responses to migration, based on the Europe’s commitment to universal human rights and social justice.
CRESM was one of the institutions in Italy selected for its experience working with and among immigrant communities, particularly in Sicily. The CRESM methodology was considered worthy of an important contribution to support the local immigrant communities. EPIM commissioned the CRESM to follow 3 immigrant associations – two with offices in Palermo and one in Rome – to develop their community organizational and fund-raising skills.
The associations involved are:
AL HARAZ ASSOCIATION – SUDANESE COMMUNITY OF PALERMO
UNIS ASSOCIATION – UNION DES IVOIRIENS EN SICILIE
BAOBAB ASSOCIATION – ROME
